In Dhaka's Pallabi, 8-year-old child Ramisa Akhtar was raped, murdered and beheaded. The mastermind of this heinous crime was her 31-year-old neighbor Sohel Rana. He lured the child into his house and committed this barbaric murder. He has confessed to his crime before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate and has been sent to jail. The High Court has ordered the death sentence, but it has not yet been executed.
